CAHL 2019-2020
Tentative Schedule A
Cancelled: CAHL 2019-2020
Tentative Schedule A
Cancelled: CAHL
2019-2020 Tentative Schedule B
Please note that the below
rescheduled regular
season/playoff schedule
Tentative
Schedule A for the CAHL 2019-2020 Season for starting on Saturday, July 11th, 2020,
which was posted on March 27th,
2020, has been cancelled as of
Monday, July 6th, 2020.
Please note that the
rescheduled regular season/playoff
schedule
Tentative
Schedule B for the CAHL 2019-2020 Season for starting
on Tuesday, August 4th, 2020, which was posted on
May 15th, 2020, has been
cancelled
as of Friday, July 31st, 2020.
Even though the arenas were
permitted to reopen on June
12th, 2020 the remaining government restriction that
"sports teams can play in
region-only cohorts of up to 50 players (mini leagues)"
still prevents us from being able to play as is as that'd only
be divisions of 2-3 teams each based on the current overall
rosters. All
of the returning teams from the CAHL 2019-2020 Season will
automatically be given a prorated credit for their cancelled
CAHL 2019-2020 Season regular season/playoff games. Any
non-returning teams from the CAHL 2019-2020 Season will be given a prorated refund. The teams
are not being charged for any administration/credit card
processing fees that the CAHL has already been/will be charged for.
Tentative
Rescheduled Playoff Schedule A
Below is the
Tentative Rescheduled Playoff Schedule A
which was posted on
March 27th, 2020.
Please note that we have already
booked the ice for this new playoff schedule. However, we can
only proceed with this new playoff schedule if the government
restrictions are lifted in time.
Currently no one knows when the
government restrictions will be lifted.
If the government restrictions are
lifted far sooner then there will be another newer playoff
schedule, that will replace this new playoff schedule, to
accommodate the earlier lifting of the government restrictions.
Mandatory Photo ID and Playoff
Player Eligibility
Note that
all skaters and all goalies must present government issued photo
ID before every playoff game in order to be eligible to play.
Skater Exemptions Are Not Permitted
Under Any Circumstances
All teams,
including your playoff opponents, are under the same playoff
rules which are no skater exemptions for any reason under any
circumstances for all playoff games.
Some teams may think that they are
the only team to ask for skater exemptions. However, other teams
including your playoff opponents
ask for skater exemptions as well.
Your playoff opponents ask for
even better skater
exemptions, even more
skater exemptions, and have even
better reasons than your team.
No teams,
including your playoff opponents,
are permitted any skater exemptions for any reason
under any circumstances
for all playoff games.
The answer will always be "No"
for all teams, including your
playoff opponents, who ask for skater exemptions
as well.
Your team would
not want your playoff opponents
to bring their even better, even more numerous skater
exemptions, and who have even better reasons, than your team to
play against your team in your playoff game.
All
teams, including your playoff opponents, are under the same
playoff rules which are no skater exemptions for any reason
under any circumstances for all playoff games.
