CAHL 2024 Summer Season
 
6-9 PM Weeknight Divisions Team Registration

  Email us at [email protected] for more information about or on how to register your own team for the 6-9 PM Weeknight Divisions for the CAHL 2024 Summer Season which will begin on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, and run until mid- or late-August 2024.

  The registration deadline is Friday, May 17, 2024.

  New teams are welcome to register as well. All you need are a few small groups of friends (teams have about 15 skaters and a goalie).

  We can also try to help with Free Agents by sending you the Free Agents list and posting your contact info on the Free Agents page to possibly help you complete your team if you are looking for more players.

  New custom team uniforms can be provided for you as well at a CAHL team rate.

 
6-9 PM Weeknight Divisions H, M, and L

  -15-17 or more game season

  -14 regular season games and a guaranteed minimum of 1 playoff game (up to 3 or more playoff games)

  -All games are 1 hour and 15 minute ice times

  -100% of games are at 6:00 PM to 9:45 PM*

  -100% weeknight games only on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday night

  -Never have any games on any Friday, Saturday, Sunday and no games on all long weekend Mondays

  -Keep 100% of your weekends (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) and holidays (Victoria Day, Canada Day, and Heritage Day) free for yourself, your family, and your friends

  -About 1 game per week (there may be some bye weeks and weeks with more than 1 game)

  -2 referees and a timekeeper per game

  -The regular referees complete the Hockey Canada Certification Clinic every year to be Hockey Canada Certified and have years of experience

  -The regular timekeepers have years of experience

  -The games** are at Edge School

  -Multiple divisions and realignment based on majority team voting (Rule 2-2)

  6-9 PM Weeknight Divisions H-L*** for various skill and experience levels:

  6-9 PM Weeknight Division H
  -Played hockey for many years of your life at a high league level such as quadrant hockey or higher
  -e.g. Bantam AA/AAA, Midget AA/AAA, Junior B/A, or higher****

  6-9 PM Weeknight Division M
  -Played hockey for many years of your life at a community minor hockey and/or recreational league level
  -e.g. 9-10 years community minor hockey divisions (1/2/3) or recreational league medium divisions****


  6-9 PM Weeknight Division L
  -Played hockey for many years of your life at a community minor hockey and/or recreational league level
  -e.g. 8-9 years community minor hockey divisions (3/4/5) or recreational league lower divisions (non-beginner)****



  *All of the games are scheduled to start at 6:00 PM to 9:45 PM and within the range of Monday to Thursday, but there is no guarantee of how many games are at any specific times, how many games are on any specific playing nights, or how many games are at any specific times on any specific playing nights. The number of games at any specific times, how many games are on any specific playing nights, or how many games are at any specific times on any specific playing nights may vary among the teams and divisions and may also vary from year to year, season to season, month to month, week to week, and day to day. It is also possible that the start of any game may be delayed by problems such as, but not limited to, an ice resurfacer (Zamboni) malfunction, a player injury, a game that needs extra time, etc.

  **Only in the event of unforeseen circumstances is it possible that there could be some games at other arenas.

  ***The final total number and levels of divisions may vary and be different as it depends on the division preferences, the final total number of teams with preferences for the different levels of divisions, and the final total number of teams that register.

  ****Skill levels are very difficult to describe without knowing the playing background of every player on every team, are only a very rough approximation, and may greatly vary. There is no guarantee of parity, or how often a team may win or lose, or what scores a team may win or lose by.
