CALGARY, Alberta (CAHL) – The 2015-2016, 2016-2017, and 2017 Summer CAHL Cup Champions, the 11th-year Wolfpack (since 2013), skirmished with the eighth-year Hardfor Whales (since 2016).

Landon Mracek hit the accelerator to give the Hardfor Whales a 1-0 edge with the support of Michael Proppe and Everest Jason.

On the second lap, Theo Odishaw, Michael Proppe, and London Odishaw elevated the Hardfor Whales' lead to 4-0. Taylor Odishaw, Jon Odishaw, Everest Jason, and Brett Tate lent their assistance.

Natasha Stalany then sent in Caleb Pierce, who reduced the Wolfpack's shortfall to 4-1 before the second intermission.
